Nanyu Konstantinov Bakalov (b. 1983, Lovech, Bulgaria) is a visual artist based in Veliko Tarnovo working in painting, sculpture, and installation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Painting and a Master’s degree in Sculpture from Veliko Tarnovo University. His work explores form, material, and psychological tension through textured and experimental surfaces. Bakalov has participated in solo and group exhibitions, including “Flight of the Spirit”, “Check”, etc. In 2014 he received Third Prize at the national competition “Paper in Contemporary Art”, followed by the 2015 Culture Award of Veliko Tarnovo for artistic debut.
