Nelya Akimova (NELYA-NAKI) is a contemporary artist and photographer. She works with oil on canvas and digital photo art. Her focus is the illusory nature of reality. She invites viewers to rethink perception: “Welcome to the Game on Earth.”
Her oil paintings show snow landscapes against concrete buildings, mixing fragility and strength. She paints intuitively, letting simple forms appear from white space.
She left a career in pharmaceuticals and moved to Prague in 2018 to pursue art. Her works have been shown in the USA, Italy, France, Austria, Czech Republic, and Greece. Key exhibitions: Focus Art Fair in Saatchi Gallery (2023), Prague solo show (2024), and "Personal Structures" near Venice Biennale (2024). In 2025: The Wrong Biennale, Art With Me Festival (Miami), Discovery Art Fair (Frankfurt), and Platforms Project (Athens) with "EDEN. Lost Coordinates."
She studied at Art Communications School in Athens (2022) and M&C Saatchi Open House (2023)
