Ukraine, 1980
Art is my heritage and lifelong companion. Born into a dynasty of muralists, I developed a visual language before finding my own voice. My early musical education remains the cornerstone of my practice, allowing me to translate rhythm and melody into the "color harmonies" that define my work.
With over 20 years of professional practice, my journey has been one of constant evolution. Having lived and worked in Ukraine, Sweden, and Slovakia, I view life as a series of adaptations—a history of movement that directly shaped my mastery of watercolor. I see this medium as a reflection of life itself: fluid, transparent, and unpredictable. My technique demands a delicate balance between focused control and the courage to let go, echoing the navigation of new borders.
My work explores the "quiet human presence" within shifting environments. Integrating a background in icon painting and monumental murals, I bring structural precision and spiritual depth to contemporary subjects. I focus on how we carry our inner silence and identity through changing landscapes, capturing the intimate dialogue between the world around us and the world within.
My works are held in private collections across the USA, Canada, Australia, Sweden, and Europe. Today, I continue to expand my practice through international exhibitions and teaching, remaining dedicated to the philosophy of the "inner silence" in art.
