Pei-Ting Hsieh is a Taiwanese artist currently pursuing an MFA in New Media Art at Taipei National University of the Arts. Her practice examines the traces of human presence, memory, and identity within technological systems of vision. Working across moving image, installation, and digitally mediated images, she explores how image technologies, machine vision, and digital infrastructures reshape subjectivity, while reflecting on the human search for self-understanding, spirituality, and the sublime in the technological era.
Hsieh received First Prize at the New Media Art Department Annual Exhibition at Taipei National University of the Arts and was selected for the Kaohsiung Awards, one of Taiwan’s major awards for emerging artists. Her work has been exhibited at the Ars Electronica Festival 2024 in Linz, Austria.
