Greece, 1969
Polina Kontogianni was born and raised on Salamina. She studied Business Administration and Organizations and worked for several years as an accountant. She is the mother of two children and has been living permanently in Chalandri since 2000.
Painting has been part of her life since her school years. However, following a difficult personal loss, art became a meaningful way of emotional expression and inner healing. Since 2023, she has focused mainly on realism, using colored pencils to capture moments, emotions, and human sensitivity with detail and authenticity.
For her, artistic creation is both a personal refuge and a bridge of communication with others.
