For me, art is about seeing and trying to see again. Art should be playful, honest and a little unpredictable. That's how I try to paint.
I research colors, spaces and the silent stories that live in the architecture around us. To some extent, I question or comment on how I experience things in society. Not by provoking, but perhaps rather by giving a friendly nudge in the side and pointing a little discreetly.
In my paintings I try to move between the abstract and the figurative. Often, abstraction is used as a background and the more figurative elements are placed at the forefront of the scene.
