United Kingdom,
I was born in London in 1970 and currently live and work in Lazio, Italy.
I studied at The Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, receiving a classical training in observational painting and the sight-size method. Following my studies, I worked in London for over a decade as a professional portrait painter, producing commissioned works for private collections and exhibiting internationally.
My contemporary practice has evolved from traditional figurative painting toward large-scale symbolic and techno-mythological works exploring consciousness, geometry, mythology, and technological culture.
My current work is part of a series of triptychs and diptychs . The work explores transcendence, duality, and the relationship between human consciousness and archetypal structure. Hand-painted over many months without digital intervention, the reflective finish activates the viewer’s presence within the composition itself.
