Snjezana Bratanovic / photographer, graphic designer - specialist in digital publishing / I am finishing my secondary education (retraining) in Zagreb to become a photographer. I defended my final thesis on the history and development of reportage photography (street, documentary). After graduating from photography school, I enrolled in the study of graphic design at the Polytechnic Algebra and earned the title of graphic designer - specialist in digital publishing. I have exhibited at numerous group conceptual exhibitions and projects throughout Croatia and abroad, as well as independently in my artistic expression (galleries, museums). I have won numerous reference awards and recognitions in the profession in this region and at international photography festivals. A significant award at Rovinj Photodays 2017 in the Art category for the series "Beginning and Ending" about the abandoned Arena textile factory, which is included in the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Arts and Crafts (MUO) in Zagreb. Winner of the first prize at the Female Photographers Award 2017 in Rijeka for female creativity and artistic value of "New Generation" photography, organized by Fotoklub Rijeka. My photographs have been published in numerous foreign and Croatian magazines on photographic culture, as well as in a number of web magazines. I am actively involved in educational work through photography workshops and am dedicated to using the medium of photography to raise awareness of socially marginalized groups. I live and work in Pula.
