Italy, 1970
I am an Italian digital artist based in Umbria, with over thirty years of experience working with images, visual communication, and digital media.
My artistic practice explores memory, identity, transformation, and the emotional traces that shape human experience. Through a process of layering photographs, maps, architectural fragments, natural textures, and symbolic elements, I create works that investigate the relationship between inner landscapes and the world around us.
Over the years, my projects have evolved into long-term visual investigations, including Marmo, Idioma 19|20, Traces of Human Unnatural History, Cut Loose, Madonna with Lost Child, Magmatica, and the ongoing Dragon Series.
My work has been exhibited internationally and selected for projects and exhibitions including LensCulture Art Photography Awards, Flora Photographica (Thames & Hudson), Imago Mundi – Fondazione Luciano Benetton, Venice International Art Fair, London Art Biennale, and most recently Soglie at Galleria Latina in Rome.
Upcoming projects include participation in ArtPrize 2026 in Grand Rapids, Michigan (USA), where Madonna with Lost Child will be presented as a site-specific installation.
Through digital stratification and visual experimentation, I seek to reveal the tensions, connections, and unresolved states that lie beneath the surface of things.
