Steph Cloutier is a francophone multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, specializing in textiles, paper, and sculpture. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art with Distinction from OCAD University, where she studied sculpture, installation, and textiles. Her practice explores themes of memory, belonging, reciprocity, and repair. Driven by a keen interest in materiality, Steph’s process involves natural dyes, cultivating her own dye plants, dyeing thread, and hand-making inks and paper to create both 2D and 3D artworks. Her work has been featured in major exhibitions and art fairs, including The Artist Project, Craft Ontario, the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, and DesignTO. She has further developed her creative process through residencies in Canada and Italy.
