My name is Velimna and I'm a Tuscan artist from the coast. My practice unfolds through a constant dialogue between painting and writing, rooted in my academic linguistic/ literary/ psychological background. I move between words and colors as a commuter. I am also a writer, with published books to my credit. Surrealism defines my visual language. I have exhibited in Italy and abroad, including the Florence Biennales, where I recently presented a body of work on surreal motherhood.
