Virginia Mattei is an artist with a solid educational background and a talent that has been recognized since a very young age. After attending the Art Institute and earning the qualification of Master of Art, she had the opportunity to meet the painter and sculptor Romano Battaglioli, who immediately recognized her natural aptitude and talent for drawing and painting. Under his guidance, she took private lessons in chiaroscuro, refining her technique, sensitivity, and expressive abilities. Determined to broaden her creative language, Virginia continued her studies and obtained the qualification of fashion illustrator and stylist from a recognized specialized fashion school. Her artistic journey soon extended beyond national borders: she was selected to exhibit one of her canvas paintings at Artexpo New York, where she received the Creative Arts Trophy and a certificate of merit accompanied by an art critique. She was subsequently chosen to participate in the Biennale Tour in Spain, exhibiting her works in Barcelona, Valencia, and Madrid. Today, Virginia continues to pursue her artistic research with passion, combining technique and intuition with an aesthetic vision that reflects elegance, authenticity, and a profound attention to light and form.
