Czech Republic, 2002
I’m a visual artist working mostly in commissioned textile and painting practices. I work under the artistic name Juky. My practice is rooted in expressionist approach to color and form, characterized by clear and vivid color palettes. I also took some interest in philosophy, so sometimes my art is focusing on that direction. I explore the intersection of applied and fine art, focusing on tapestry, painting, and metal-based processes. I graduated in textile design in 2022 (SUŠTŘ - Prague). Through material transformation and surface construction, I translate emotional intensity into contemporary visual language. |
