Chromesthesia is a neurological phenomenon where auditory stimuli, such as music, voices or everyday sounds, automatically and involuntarily trigger the perception of colours, shapes and movements. This painting is part of a series of works that blend Jazz and Colour. The starting point was an original Jazz composition. The painting process of multiple unpredictable layers creates a bridge with Jazz improvisation. The instruments constantly react to each other melodically and rhythmically on the spot and the same happens with the mediums used in this work. Sound turned into colour.
