The sun is going down in the background and the atmosphere is full of angry energy.
In the foreground, the earth is fracturing indicating the growing chasm between them.
It’s obvious that the woman is in full fury and that her outstretched arm and fingers say it all. She’s had enough. While the man with his feeble hand flapping in the air is indicating to her that he doesn’t know what he has done wrong.
You can see that his toes are curling from the verbal rage he is under.
This is the climax of the breakdown of their relationship.
