Where the Earth Sees

The work is part of the serie "Gazes". The eye appears embedded in landscapes and natural phenomena, suggesting a world that is not silent. Nature is understood here as a percieving counterpart: it sees, remembers, and returns its gaze toward us. In this work, a human eye emerges from the bark of an ancient olive tree, blurring the boundary between the human and the living landscape.
