The Window
This painting speaks of the way we see the world:
not directly, not completely, but through a succession of frames, traces and intensities.
The film form suggests a reality that is not given to us whole,
but fragmented, like a series of appearances caught between two edges.
Inside,
the lines gather, unfold, overlap, as if the image were a process rather than a stable object.
The top seems airy, incandescent, almost mental; the center gains density,
and below everything sinks into a deep, organic blue, like a memory that is still working.
Red and orange pierce the darkness like living impulses,
while the blue maintains the tension and places it in a wider breath.
The “Window” does not just show something looked at,
but the very condition of looking:
we see through frames, through limits,
through lit fragments.
And perhaps it is precisely these edges that make the image possible.
