My work explores the primal energy of life through the slow, meditative accumulation of delicate ink dots and lines—a process I define as 'visual asceticism.' Rather than imposing fixed, rigid forms, I allow organic, fluid images to emerge through the rhythmic repetition of ink, mirroring the flow of time and the act of patient breathing.

In Free and Cute, the focus shifts to a micro-cosmos of diverse life forms: small, wandering beings and vibrant cells of energy that drift through the void without artificial restraint. These tiny figures, each donning their signature black hats, carry their own portable sanctuaries across a vast, unfolding world. In this space, they do not compete, resist, or conflict; they move gently, embracing their unique shapes and rhythms with a quiet, inner confidence.

The 'black hat' is more than a mere accessory; it is a symbol of a movable home and a protective roof against the friction of a chaotic world. Through these meticulously layered ink marks, I seek to capture a pure state of coexistence where all things are simply permitted to exist. Free and Cute invites the viewer to pause within this gentle, rhythmic current and encounter a serene, utopian world where life unfolds freely—beyond tension or judgment—just as it beautifully is.
