Alethea Eriksson is a contemporary abstract painter based in Baden, Switzerland. Her work explores atmosphere, movement, and the emotional resonance of natural phenomena through an intuitive, process-led approach to painting.
Drawing on experiences of weather, water, shifting light, and seasonal change, she creates works that evoke remembered landscapes rather than depict specific places. Layers of acrylic, oil, charcoal, and pencil are built up and partially removed through scratching, sanding, and erasure.
