Amritha Jalaja Devi is an Indian contemporary figurative artist currently based in the UK. Her practice explores migration, emotional stillness, loneliness and psychological vulnerability through large-scale paintings. Influenced by personal experiences of displacement and transition, her works depict quiet domestic spaces and intimate human moments that reflect themes of memory, care, identity and emotional survival.
