Ana Belošević Veličan (1979.) is an contemporary artist born in Zagreb, Croatiia where she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. She has been actively exhibiting since 2004, with over ten solo exhibitions and numerous group shows held in prominent Croatian galleries, She participated in the 8th, 9th, and 14th Sculpture Triennials, receiving special recognition for her work Garden of Eden at the 9th Triennial. Throughout her artistic journey, Belošević Veličan has explored a variety of media—ranging from animation and painting to installation and sculpture—demonstrating a fluid and experimental approach to form and material. In recent years, her practice has become increasingly focused on galvanized wire, through which she weaves delicate floral forms rich with allegorical resonance.
