Russia, 1977
Olga Neff (Kovalishina) (b. 1977) is a visual artist and poet. She lives and works between Moscow and Cyprus.
In 2025, she completed her Master’s degree at the Institute of Visual Arts (Moscow).
Her path into art developed outside the conventional academic trajectory: an economics degree, postgraduate study, experience in consulting, and her own business. This background shaped her artistic method, in which analytical structure is combined with intuitive perception.
Neff’s practice centres on the creation of immersive visual environments, where image gives way to the experience of presence. Working with video, photography, and poetic text, she builds spaces in which the viewer becomes a participant in the process of experience.
Since 2024, Neff has been actively involved in international projects. Her films have been recognised at a number of festivals, including CinemaBriz Film Festival (Spain), Dreamz Catcher IFF (India), Berlin Indie Awards (Germany), and Arthouse Festival of Beverly Hills (USA).
Her photographic projects have been presented at the IAVPOA Biennial (Kaunas), at exhibitions in Barcelona, London, and Dubai, and published in DEHAZED, ICONIC, and DOCU Magazine.
In 2026, her stand at the Art Russia fair was named among the top 10 by MAXIM magazine.
In 2024, her poetry collection “Poems in a Phone” was published in Russia.
Her works are held in private collections in Russia, Spain, and the Netherlands.
