an mich
vor 1 MinuteDetails
My work explores fictional realities that remain close to documentary language. I am interested in the point where observation, memory and construction become difficult to separate.
Many of my projects are built as image series rather than single photographs. I use recurring environments, fragmented narratives and implied worlds to create situations that feel familiar but remain unresolved. Temporary spaces, hidden infrastructures, abandoned places and peripheral environments often appear throughout my work. I am less interested in dramatic events than in traces, atmospheres and states of existence.
My visual approach is strongly influenced by documentary methods. I studied design with a focus on photography and completed my diploma in this field. This background still shapes the way I think about images: sequencing, observation and the relationship between image and reality remain central to my practice.
Alongside my artistic work I work as a commercial product photographer. The contrast between controlled commercial production and open fictional image worlds has become an important part of my process.
Through my projects I try to create spaces that feel both constructed and believable — places that seem discovered rather than invented.
