Lalla Thord is a field artist working at the intersection of art and science. With a background in global health, nursing, and art history, her practice is experimental and research-based, often developed through collaborations with scientists, children, and local communities. She uses art as a tool to translate complex scientific knowledge into sensory, participatory experiences, believing art to be an international and accessible language. Currently, her work is deeply engaged with nature, and especially trees, exploring their biological, ecological, and symbolic dimensions through textile, sculpture, installation, and collaborative processes. Her practice gives voice to overlooked perspectives while opening new ways of understanding both nature and human experience.
