Born into a Croatian family of scientists, I was raised at the intersection of discovery and innovation. After emigrating to the USA, I began my academic journey by earning a B.S. in Biochemistry from UC Davis, subsequently completing an M.S., Ph.D., and postdoctoral research at other leading institutions.
Today, I bridge these worlds as a Freelance Medical Writer while pursuing a deep-seated passion for the visual arts. From 2021 to 2026, I completed the Drawing & Painting program at the City of Zagreb Cultural Center for Fine Arts under the mentorship of Professor Ana Barbič Katičić.
My artwork, which often reflects the complexity of my scientific roots, has been featured in several exhibitions and donated to various public institutions. I believe that science and art are ultimately two different languages for observing the same truth.
