Ivonne Portillo Sierra is a Colombian visual artist living in Barcelona where she has trained for more than a decade in techniques such as lithography, woodcut, collage, digital art, drawing, watercolor and oil painting. Through art, she has been able to connect with the landscapes and culture of her ancestors. Ivonne has participated in group exhibitions in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia and has had solo exhibitions in Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid, and Miami showcasing different media such as painting, printmaking and artist books. She was a 2025 Miniprint Cadaqués finalist in Spain, won the 2023 Passeig Sant Joan Second Prize in Barcelona; and won the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real Prize in the XLII “Castillo de San Fernando” Contest. Since 2020, she has been managing Casa Jaguar /@casajaguar.studio/, an arts studio in Barcelona where she collaborates with other Colombian audiovisual artists who share her interest in developing a visual language that integrates pre-hispanic tradition with contemporary art.
